My Mom said.
They took away our guns.
They said, it was to protect our sons.
Then they took our Bibles.
Because they said, we were rivals.
Then they stole our daughters.
So they wouldn’t drink the same believing waters.
Mom said.
Then there was wailing and weeping.
There was no sleeping.
Only the enemy creeping,
We prayed for Jesus to come for our souls keeping.
Mom said.
Then here came the Son.
We couldn’t feel the automatic machine gun.
We were finally with the Son.
Mom said.
They should’ve never been trusted.
We were their entrusted.
