You faced the darkness with lighted candles.
And you crossed unknown timid channels.
You never were rattled.
You stood strong and proud in each battle.
From the first moment, we recognized who we were as children looking through the eyes of candy apples.
To a young teen walking across brushy high floating grassy wheat field plains.
You made us see eye to eye that America was always worth a good battle.
America, we love you from the grassy plains to the highrise skies, we will always defend you in battle.
We thank all of those who have fought for you in heroic battles.
